{belong}

"Everything under heaven belongs to Me."
 Job 41:11

be·long  [bih-lawng, -long]  belong to,  to be the property of: to be bound to (a person, place, or club) by tiesof affection, dependence, allegiance, or membership

my heart is heavy this morning for people,
children, friends that are facing troubles
 the world is handing to them.
  i came back to reality from a mission trip.
reality that not everyone trusts.
not everyone holds on to the Truth.
long prayers this morning for people i know suffering.

truths i'm learning:
 Oh, how He loves us.
 Be still & listen.
Words are immensely powerful.
 "Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."
Laughter is sunshine.
Live with grace & happiness.
Anger reveals weakness, violence even moreso.
Love wins.
 "There are no random acts...We are all connected...You can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind..."

{share love}

July 9th- 16th.
 Escazul, San Jose, Costa Rica.
 We worked at Rahab Foundation, a safe place for women involved in prostitution. (Prostitution is legal in Costa Rica)
We had a youth camp at La Cumbre for 130 local & street ninos.
We met some amazing new friends.
 Laughed, cried, prayed, loved.
Worked on my spanish. Ate gallo pinto.
Sorry for the lack of photos, it was very dangerous in some parts of the city to carry a cell phone or camera.  Its amazingly beautiful there and unusually cold at night.
Our God is mighty & strong.

"Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon."  Isaiah 58:10

{4th of July}

"With this faith, we will be able to
hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope.
 With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation
into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood.
 With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.
Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
~Martin Luther King
