{day 12-27}

the hustle & bustle got ahold of me...
during these 15 days, i am still so thankful for this season.

i thought about all that i have....
health. family. husband. job. home. jesus.

we had a restful, wonderful thanksgiving day.
we celebrated with my family & cousins.
we watched (what could be) the last football game between A&M vs. UT. (texas won, in the last 3 seconds, by a field goal...)

{day 11}

thankful that christmas is around the corner! its getting cooler out.
today, i had a christmas candle lit, and christmas music playing, and a friend & i started making christmas wreaths!
(i am starting plans for random acts of kindness for the 25 days of december...)

{day 10}

today i am thankful for a real understanding that everyone is going through something hard. i've learned to be so sensitive to asking people personal questions like..
"when are you getting married"  and
"do you have any children"
.....those are actually difficult questions for people to answer.
i hope i never forget.

{day 9}

today i am thankful for a warm home.
it was chilly today, and it reminded me of the people in places that are cold and need warmth.
our school's football team is collecting blankets and jackets for an orphanage in mexico. for more information email me @ lndeprang@hotmail.com

today i am thankful for my husband.
he was gone for the weekend and i realized how lonely it is around with out him!
even thought i didn't have to pick up 3987247923 dirty socks...

today i am so thankful for a day of rest.

so thankful for mondays. a new start.

{day 5}

today i am thankful for new starts.
i've taken a couple weeks off of running (that will be another post, one day...)

i took waylon and 2 girlfriends and we went for a trail run.
cool, beautiful, fall morning. reminded me why i loved running.
it felt so good to be outside again.  fresh air.

{day 4}

Today I am thankful that I get to work with a group of teachers, administrators and kids that know that the success of education comes from the unity of parents and teachers. A year ago I started a new job as Athletic Director of Legacy Prep Christian Academy.  A school that takes curriculum and divides the time of private school and homeschool.  Parents are co-teachers.
This last year was the second year that the school has had organized athletics.  So, with no field house, no weight room, some determined dads as coaches....our football team finished it season today as UNDEFEATED.  Undefeated....no school in our community could come within 10 points of losing to us...
The team has unbelievable determination.  So proud. Thankful.

today i am thankful for the 30 minutes i got to share coffee with my husband, on the way to the airport.

Today I am thankful for cool, breezy, fall mornings.

There are 30 days in the month of November.
November is a great month to express our thanksgiving.
So, for day 1 I am so very thankful for my family.
